The Glasgow five-piece are the most exciting new act to come out of Scotland in a long time and 2016 is going to be the year that they explode.

Anyone who has caught one of their surprisingly few gigs in the last 18 months or so will attest to how good this lot are, seemingly arriving fully formed with their incredible fusion of arty 80s pop and pummelling punk-funk dance grooves. Frontman Leo Condie and guitarist Hamish Fingland – alongside Chris Potter, Lewis Andrew and Kirstin Lynn – have each been round the block before in various bands, most notably Fingland, Potter and Andrew in the 60s West Coast-inspired rockers Kassidy, but Fingland, Potteris where it’s all coming together.
