Hit of the week: Friendly Fires ‘Heaven Let Me In’

Friendly Fires made their live comeback earlier this year, dropping their track ‘Love Like Waves‘ before playing a summer of festival appearances (including a sold out headline show at London’s Brixton Academy). After collaborating with Disclosure on their album ‘Defeated No More’, ‘Heaven Let Me In’ sees a reunion of their creative forces, incorporating Friendly Fires’ signature club culture sound and grooves. The band frontman, Ed Macfarlane, described the track as “a song about being comfortable in your own skin. When you stop trying so hard and embrace your imperfections then opportunities arise and doors open.”
