The Calder Valley based band released their debut single ‘Generation Game’ back in March which became Speedy Wunderground’s fastest selling 7″ ever. On their return, The Lounge Society are trying to break free of any pre-prescribed post punk band tags. ‘Burn The Heather’ has a rhythm that runs along on light percussion and understated bass lines. Cultivating atmosphere aplenty, the song injects sudden moments of momentum to create frustration-shaking, danceable sequences.
