Introducing… Hiatus Kaiyote

Melbourne-based, worldwide-beloved, twice-Grammy-nominated Hiatus Kaiyote returns in 2021 with their new album Mood Valiant.  Hiatus Kaiyote broke internationally in 2012 with their first LP, Tawk Tomahawk,

Their music defied categorization: Some called it “neo-soul,” others “future soul”; the band calls it, simply, wondercore. They share a new song and video from their forthcoming album Mood Valiant,   “Red Room” was born out of a bass and drum groove by band members Paul Bender and Perrin Moss when the group went to Rio De Janeiro in 2019 to work with legendary Brazilian arranger Arthur Verocai, who features on their previously-released single “Get Sun.”
