Since their debut album in 2015, Sŵnami (pronounced “tsunami”) has been bringing Welsh-language music to the mainstream without compromising their policy of writing and performing mostly in Welsh. Their blend of shimmering guitars, indie sensibilities, and pure pop melodies has been winning over fans and critics regardless of their understanding of the Welsh language. The band has recorded a BBC Maida Vale session and won the Welsh Language Album of the Year award.
“Paradis Disparu” is the latest single from Indie-pop group SŴNAMI, promsingin the first glimpse of the band’s long-awaited second album SŴNAMI which is set to be released this summer.
