This five-piece band from Brighton, who made their debut with an eponymous album in 2012 that earned them praise from their compatriots The Horrors, are in Sidecar to present their third album, ‘Clear Shot’ (2016), a new gem full of krautrock and psychedelia.
Since releasing 2014’s Nabuma Rubberband, Little Dragon’s output has been limited to collaborations with Flume and De La Soul. Now, however, they’re returned a new, original single called “High”.
Throwback synths welcome in the warm slice of alternative R&B, a track full of smooth, subtle low-end and snapping percussion. “High” is equal parts meditative and sensual.
In addition to the new music, Little Dragon have announced their first North American tour in two years. The dates kick off in mid-April around their appearance at Coachella.
There is no release date just yet, but the The Wonder Years revealed in a tweet that they will be writing a new album this year. This follows the band’s 2015 No Closer To Heaven and will mark their sixth studio album. The American pop punk band will play tomorrow night at sala Bóveda. The opening bands will be Tiny Moving Parts and Trash Boat.
