Favourite Gig: Primal Scream

Bobby Gillespie and his Primal Scream, a living piece of history of rock and one of the essential pillars of modern music, authors of key albums such as ‘Screamadelica’ (1991) and ‘XTRMNTR’ (2000), are back in Barcelona to present the compilation ‘Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll: The Singles’ (2019), a journey through the band’s more than 30 years of music. Tonight at Razzmatazz.

Favourite Gig: Lewis Capaldi

Lewis Capaldi is seriously the musical man of the moment right now – he’s seemingly shot to fame after releasing his debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent‘ in May 2019. Of course, his catchy songs, including, ‘Someone You Loved’ and ‘Bruises’, incredible vocals and all-round talent are helped by the fact that he’s such a personality too. Tonight in concert at Sala Bikini.

Favourite gig: The Wedding Present

The renowned indie-rock group The Wedding Present is celebrating. It is the 30th anniversary of Bizarro, the second studio album of the band formed in 1985 in Leeds. In commemoration and to celebrate it, they will play tonight in Barcelona. The iconic record includes some of the most important songs of this British group, such as Keneddy and Brassneck, promising a memorable concert.

Favourite Gig: Eels

Eels, the unstoppable project of tortured singer and composer Mark Oliver Everett (also known as E), debuted more than 20 years ago with the hit album ‘Beautiful Freak’ (1996). Now they’re back to play tonight at Razzmatazz some of their classics and to show off their 12th album, ‘The Deconstruction’ (2018), published four years after ‘The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett’ (2014).
