Angel Olsen has announced details of new EP Forever Means, a collection of songs written during sessions for 2022 album Big Time. The new project will be released on April 14 via Jagjaguwar with today’s news accompanied by “Nothing’s Free.” Stream that new song below.

Best Covers: Angel Olsen ‘Gloria’
Angel Olsen has announced a new EP called Aisles, which will see her covering a slew of songs from the ’80s. The EP will be out on her own Jagjaguwar imprint, somethingcosmic, on August 20th digitally and September 24th physically.
Olsen has previewed the collection with a cover of Laura Branigan’s “Gloria.” Olsen definitely adds her own twist to the track, making it much more droning and melancholic. With a pulsing beat and wavering, disorienting instrumentals, this emotive track is a must-listen.

Angel Olsen has shared a cover of Roxy Music’s 1982 Avalon classic ‘More Than This’. It’s a stark, stripped-back rendition of the track that harks back to Olsen’s early output. Check out her cover below.

Honeyblood’s third album sees Stina Tweeddale finding her most ambitious form and steely focus yet. Three albums in she has stepped forward to finally claim the mantle of the project she birthed seven years ago as a her sole vision. Stina takes the reigns in collaboration with none-other than super-producer John Congleton (Angel Olsen, St Vincent) for the most definitive Honeyblood LP to date, consolidating the Glasgow-born band as one of the most important UK names.
On lead single, ‘The Third Degree’ (out today) Stina’s arguably perfected the fine art of the punk-rock ode-to-the-shit-head-ex. But ‘In Plain Sight’ is as sonically gung-ho as peak era Garbage, or the modern day likes of St Vincent; big, bold, songwriting no longer content to be tied to one limited genre. Woven with mysterious themes of illusion and deception, Tweeddale describes the album as “one big trick”. Being hoodwinked never felt so exciting.
