The muses of La Musa: Björk
Björk often describes her music using visual cues. The Icelandic musician’s last album looked up to the heavens, filled with birdsong and airy flutes. Her new album, “Fossora,” peers deep down into the soil. The follow-up to 2017’s Utopia has the theme “mushroom life.” She described the new project as “a pacifist, idealistic album with flutes and synths and birds.”
