Ed Nash of Bombay Bicycle Club has covered classic Tears for Fears ‘Mad World’ alongside Liz Lawrence – the single is in aid of Samaritans, which receives a higher volume of calls around Christmastime.
Less dreary than the version made famous by Gary Jules in Donnie Darko, this is a more chipper interpretation that reflects the indie sensibilities of both Liz Lawrence and Ed Nash’s solo work, as well as that of his band.

The London-based band were joined by singer Liz Lawrence for their stripped-down take on the dance track, which they recorded during an appearance on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge yesterday (February 27). The song originally appeared on Disclosure’s debut album ‘Settle’
London-based duo APRE have just unveiled their debut single All Yours, a captivating indie cut with infectious pop sensibilities. Lyrically the song captures the intensity of that point where you are ready to give yourself to someone entirely. Lucy Rose, former backing vocalist with the UK band Bombay Bicycle Club, started out recording her solo material at home.
