Hit of The Week: The Killers ‘Boy’

The Killers have shared their new single ‘boy’. The group’s previous album ‘Pressure Machine’ became a critically lauded hit, propelled by Brandon Flowers’ desire to document the travails of small-town American life. Hitting the road, The Killers then completed a massive stadium-filling tour, entertaining 400,000 fans on a run of sold out UK shows.

4Ever Songs: The Killers ‘Human’

The Killers Day & Age was Brandon Flowers and co’s third studio album, released on 18 November 2008. The LP included the likes of Spaceman, A Dustland Fairytale and their enduring hit and stadium filler, Human.

The iconic song – which was the first track to be taken from the album – was released on 22 September 2008 and became an instant indie anthem. Over a decade later and it’s still one of the most popular tracks during their live set.

Hit of the week: Deradoorian “Saturnine Night”

It’s been eight years since Angel Deradoorian abandoned her stint with Dirty Projectors to pursue a solo career. Since, she’s made several guest appearances for artists like Flying Lotus, Brandon Flowers and Rostam (who, little-known fact, was also a member of the Projectors alongside Ezra Koenig way back in the day). Tuesday, Deradoorian announced her first full-length since signing to ANTI-, Find the Sun, the follow-up to her 2015 album The Expanding Flower Plant. The record is set for release on May 22.
