Local Bands: The Handclappers

The Handclappers are from Barcelona, though you would never think so seeing the apparent easiness with which they mix funk, post-punk and echo bands such as !!!, exploiting all the potential of sinuous bass and broken rhythms. Dance and funk Catalan-style to conquer the dance floors and make the crowds freak out. The band formed from other bands such as Miau Miau and Without started in 2011 and has been singled out by several specialist media as one of the names to watch out for on the Barcelona underground scene. After performing together with bands such as Clean Bandit, they continue to dispatch their organic and sensual concept of rhythm in songs like “Up.In.Ahead” o “Subscribers To The Mystery”.

FIB 2015

El FIB comença aquest proper dijous 16 de juliolamb noms tan convincents com Blur, Florence + The Machine, The Prodigy, Portishead, Noel Gallagher’s Flying Birds, Los Planetas, Vetusta Morla o FSS (la recent aliança entre Frank Ferdinand i Sparks). El Festival Internacional comptarà amb un gran cartell . A més a més dels caps de cartell del 16 al 19 de juliol arribaran a Benicàssim artistes com Crystal Fighters, Clean Bandit, LA, Swim Deap, Jamie T, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Kaiser Chiefs, Mark Ronson, Tiga (DJ), Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Timo Maas, Bastille, Public Enemy, The Cribs, Madeon o Mo o A-Trak entre d’altres.

L’ "atzucac" de Clean Bandit

Primer foren els Disclousure i AlunaGeorge. Ara ha arribat l’hora de Clean Bandit, un quartet britànic de Cambridge que barreja instruments i elements de música clàssica amb l’electrònica, el dance i el pop més ballable. Han aconseguit un èxit aclaparador amb el seu atzucac “Rather Be” amb més de 235 milions d’escoltes a Spotify. Enguany han publicat el seu disc de debut, New Eyes. Aquesta nit seran a la sala Razzmatazz. Tots a ballar!

14è aniversari Razzmatazz: primeres confirmacions

La sala Razzmatazz celebrarà el seu 14è aniversari a partir de l’1 de Novembre i fins el 20 de Desembre. Cada tardor Razzmatazz inunda Barcelona, no pas de pluja sinó de bons concerts. De moment han confirmat a artistes com la danesa MØ que visitarà la ciutat per tercer cop; Caribou que presentarà el seu esperat nou disc; Clean Bandit, una de les sensacions de les pistes de ball actuals; Yelle i Jessy Lanza.
