Agnes Obel has announced her new project Citizens of Glass for an October 2016 release.The acclaimed Danish singer and pianist has won five prizes in the Danish Music Awards: Best Album, Best Pop Release, Best Debut Artist, Best Female Artist, and Best Songwriter. Clearly, she is not new to praise. Even director David Lynch has given high praise to her work, saying “She has the most beautiful voice, unique and extraordinary.”
For Citizens of Glass, the music portrays melancholy and dread, with tinges of hope and optimism. Obel’s unique voice is both powerful and ethereal, and fiercely feminine. Her voice soars high over a deeply interwoven wall of strings and keys. Regarding the instrumentation and composition phase, Obel stated,
Twin Peaks, la mítica sèrie de principis dels 90 creada per David Lynch i Mark Frost, tornarà el proper 2016 amb 9 episodis nous pel canal Showtime, segons va informar la revista Variety en un article a la seva edició digital del passat dilluns.
Segons sembla, ara mateix Lynch i Frost es troben treballant en els nous guions i el més probable és que Lynch acabi dirigint la totalitat dels episodis. Els dos creadors van deixar algunes pistes a Twitter pels fans, i la cadena Showtime va confirmar el projecte amb un petit vídeo on s’anunciava la continuació.
Segons la informació filtrada per Variety, els episodis estarien ambientats en el present i mostrarien les conseqüències dels esdeveniments de la segona temporada de la sèrie. Lynch, a més, apostaria per seguir amb els mateixos actors i jugar així amb els efecte del pas del temps, pel que el retorn de Kyle MacLachlan com a protagonista seria gairebé segur.
