Mestre Bergmanarrived to Wales to discover a brand new band. Estrons, or aliens in English, are, surprise, a band. Although their facebook page claims their hometown is Alpha Centauri, we don’t think they are actual aliens (unless well disguised as a taut, melodic fourpiece). However, they have definitely featured on BBC Radio Wales’ Adam Walton show and have made lots of heads turn and toes tap with their demos. They sing in English and sometimes Welsh but what does it matter – Estrons make some wonderfully positive and upbeat pop music. They make the sort of music you want to listen to whilst drinking a cold cider on a hazy afternoon in July. They’ve just released their first Ep: Whoever She Was…”.
