Packed full of raw passion and talent, the whimsical bedroom pop sweetheart Alberto Garcia (AKA Alien Tango) is one to watch out for in 2020. Raised in Murica, Spain and currently based in London, Alien Tango brings you some of the grooviest and tantalising DIY tunes.
Influenced by the likes of Foxygen, MGMT, Hinds, Alien Tango is just about one of the wildest and most mischievous oddballs in the DIY music scene. His latest single ’Heavenly’ is pure bliss.

Halfway between London and Mediterranean coasts, the young Alien Tango and his exotic band emerged as one of the most refreshing and unclassifiable groups of the new psychedelia; as bizarre and suitable for the most sophisticated pop. This futuristic kid orchestra made their debut with the EP Supernatural Mango (Red Kashmir Records, 2016), a magma of acid synth melodies, accordion guitars and personal sounds. Going through discosoul and space psych or Indian music, their glam pop places them in the same dimension as Foxygen, Ariel Pink and The Lemon Twigs. Tomorrow in concert at Vida Festival.

Boogarins són una jove banda brasilera formada per Fernando Almeida i Benke Ferraz que que recupera la tradició del pop psicodèlic dels 60 d’ascendents patris com els tropicalistes Os Mutantes i l’actualitza amb ressons a bandes com Melody’s Echo Chamber o Foxygen. Presentaran el seu segon disc, ‘Manual’ (2015). Aquesta nit a l’Heliogàbal.
Divus Julius Bonasera ens presenta el hit de la setmana. Un hit que aquí Ville à Dômat anomanem atzucac. Aquesta setmana els escollits són la banda de L.A. Foxygen. El grup està encapçalat pels amics d’infantesa Sam France i Rado que varen formar Foxygen amb només 15 anys. La seva nova cançó “How Can You Really” és el primer single del que serà el seu tecer disc, …And Star Power i que es publicarà el proper 14 d’octubre. Un disc que contindrà 24 temes i que de moment sembla deixar enrere el rumor de la possible separació de la banda. La cançó té aroma dels 60. A gaudir, idò.
