Divus Julius presents…Slow Magic
Slow Magic vuelven con Mind, con la colaboración de la sueca Kate Boy, su nuevo trabajo desde How to Run Away, su álbum de 2014. Se trata de la primera vez que Slow Magic invitan a alguien a cantar una de sus producciones y, según han reconocido, andaban detrás de esta colaboración desde que escucharon In Your Eyes de Kate Boy.
Slow Magic es un proyecto do It yourself de alcance mundial, un deleite escapista, jubiloso y multidisciplinar. Detrás de esa máscara no sabemos quien se esconde, pero poco nos importa.
En 2012 llegó Triangle, su mini-álbum de debut y con él el reconocimiento de la crítica internacional y una gira con artistas como Gold Panda o XXYYXX.

A DIY project with worldwide scope, Slow Magic is universal and inclusive. It’s cosmic electronic music culled from the ether, yet crafted with human hands. It’s joyous, escapist, multi-disciplinary art that mixes transcendent performance with the nostalgic intimacy of two teenagers staying up too late on the phone.
After the release of 2012’s beloved and critically-acclaimed Triangle, Slow Magic became an international movement after touring with artists like Gold Panda and XXYYXX. Crowds found a masked man in their midst, bathed in fantastic light, with electronic triggers and a drum. The future-primitive combination infused the project’s electronic compositions with new life.
How To Run Away, Slow Magic’s debut with Downtown Records, reflects this growth, oozing both otherworldly beauty and a mastery of production. Lead single “Girls” is deconstructionist house with an organic pulse and collaged, handcrafted samples. “Hold Still” sculpts elastic organs and jazz piano into an emotionally-pummeling finale, while the melancholy “Let U Go” merges watery dub with spectral piano and “Closer” plays like a ‘90s R&B fever dream.

Divus Julius Bonasera entrevistarà el director del Minifestival de Música Independent Punxarem el més nou de The Coral, Marissa Nadler, Gold Panda, Richard Ashcroft, Damien Jurado, Parquet Courts,Woods i Eagulls entre d’altres. El mestre Bergman ens presentarà a les bandes Quilt i Mass Gothic. La Musa ens desvetllarà els guanyadors dels Oscar Awards .També us informarem de la nova edició de l’ Americana Film Fest ,del Mutek [ES] i del concert inaugural del Sónar Festival

Festival Era 2015
El Festival’Era és un nou concepte de festival rural de música alternativa i electrònica emplaçat a una idíl·lica masia del Gironès. La Masia de Can Gascons (Llagostera) es convertirà en l’indret perfecte per a gaudir d’una jornada inoblidable de música.
12 hores de fusió entre música i natura que té reclams com els nord-americans The Antlers, que aterren com a caps de cartell a terres catalanes 3 anys després en un dels seus poc concerts a Europa per presentar el seu últim disc, ‘Familiars’ (2014). Estaran acompanyants d’altres artistes consolidats del panorama nacional com The New Raemon, que portarà en directe el seu últim disc, ‘Oh, rompehielos’, Delorean, Jupiter Lion o El Último Vecino. Hi haurà també un escenari amb grups emergents, com Bel Bee Bee, Lili’s House, Wesphere i Tversky, i un cop baixi el sol, l’aclamat productor anglès Gold Panda, Sau Poler i DJohnston, faran ballar al personal fins que surti el sol. Aquest dissabte 25 de juliol.
