HiT of The Week: Yellow Days “I’ll Be Loving You”

Yellow Days has shared a new song. “I’ll Be Loving You.” The track, is the lead-single the release of his LP A Day in A Yellow Beat. The song is accompanied by the-Giles Caha lane-directed video.

On his current musical direction, inspiration comes from a deep-dive into the ’70s: fusion-era works of Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones, the funkier phases of Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield, and the keyboard wizardry of Don Blackman.

Divus Julius presents: Fleece

Fleece is a Canadian psychedelic alternative indie band with an especially eclectic style, they put a twist on the modern day alternative sound by blending aspects of funk grooves, jazzy rhythm, and the phantasmagoric rock sound of the 1970s with their overall indie genre. With influences like, Herbie Hancock, The Beatles, Grizzly Bear, Radiohead, and Tame Impala, to name a few. “We get re-inspired everyday by music.   The end result surprisingly being a sound that’s so stylistically smooth you could just snuggle with it.

The Montreal-based psych quartet have shared a new single “Do U Mind? (Leave the Light On),” along with a sensuous new video. “Do U Mind? (Leave the Light On)” is the fourth in Fleece‘s recent series of singles. Their third full-length album, the follow-up to 2017’s Voyager, is due later this year.
