With her soaring voice, Kanye West affiliate Danielle Balbuena, AKA 070 Shake, has a knack of investing productions with boundless freedom. She cracks West’s 2018 track Ghost Town wide open with a yearning, melodic nostalgia, and on her 2020 debut Modus Vivendi, the New Jersey-born rapper croons through everything from forlorn synthpop to bass-heavy rhythm.
On the heels of her successful album tour 070 Shake shares a new visualizer for the album track, “Blue Velvet”, directed by her creative companions, C.O.R.E. The new visual directly follows her highly-anticipated sophomore album, You Can’t Kill Me, released to widespread acclaim from critics and fans alike via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings earlier this month.
Describing Philadelphia trio Another Michael as an indie-pop act is accurate, but it’s also a serious oversimplification. Vocalist/guitarist Michael Doherty, bassist Nick Sebastiano and guitarist/keyboardist Alenni Davis combine a disparate set of influences—including everything from Damien Rice, Bright Eyes, Kanye West and Radiohead to R&B, dance, videogame and classical music—into a compelling debut album. The full-length follow-up to a pair of EPs, 2016’s Sans and 2018’s Land, New Music and Big Pop is the work of a hungry, young band still figuring out what exactly it is they want to say.
Kali Uchis put out one of the year’s best albums so far with her debut full-length Isolation, a heady, intoxicating blend of pop, old-school R&B, funk, and soul music. In addition to performing her own songs “Just A Stranger” and “After The Storm” during the BBC1 session, she trotted out a cover of Kanye West’s “Paranoid” off of 808s & Heartbreak.
Local Natives recognize Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo standout “Ultralight Beam” as one of the brightest beacons of light of last year. During a session with Spotify in July they covered the powerful gospel/rap hybrid, which they’ve released the recording along with a live version of “Fountain Of Youth” from Sunlit Youth.

A representative for former President Bush confirmed that Bush did not participate in the “Famous,” This is the hit of the week.

El Rebel Heart Tour de la diva pop nord-americana, la gira amb què presenta el seu 13è àlbum, ‘Rebel heart’ (2015), s’atura a Barcelona, en la seva única parada a la Península i una de les poques al sud d’Europa.
