Chvrches are no strangers to covers. Their latest comes in the form of Tegan & Sara’s ‘Call It Off’ turning into a synth-laden dreamscape with Lauren Mayberry’s delicate vocals bleeding the emotional side of the lyrics-
The synths from Martin Doherty and Iain Cook create the perfect luscious canvas for Mayberry to work her magic to give ‘Call It Off’ a whole new dimension from the lo-fi guitar driven original. It’s the first taste of new material from the Scottish band.
