“Pomes agres” is the first record from Les Cruet, a band from Montseny that has burst onto the scene to dynamite punk with their inimitable shrieks and what the band itself describes as “a furious happiness”. The band led by the singer Laura Crehuet with Narcís Prat, Oscar Montero and Xavi García as her wingmen, has debuted on the Catalan label Bankrobber with an album that is a veritable rocket, a steam roller of wild punk and relentless hardcore cooked up in the studio that they share with Mau Boada (Esperit!) and that confirms the vibrancy of the Sant Celoni scene.
