Little Simz and her backing group found the time to stop by Triple J to belt through a fairly faithful rendition of the Gorillaz stone cold classic Feel Good Inc.
It’s a pretty true-to-the-original cover, but given Simz manages to not only smash the vocals out of the park, but keep the unmistakable bass line solid as well, it’s worthy of significant praise.
Kasabian‘s chief songwriter Sergio Pizzorno has just unveiled his first solo tune titled ‘Favourites’. The tune sees Serge release under the name The S.L.P (Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno) and the first track has a feature from LIttle Simz. No album has been announced but Serge has said that there is more to come from his new project.
Last week, Little Simz brought us back to reality with the track “Offence.” Now, she shares another unapologetic anthem called “Boss” and it’s so good that it deserved to make it’s grand debut in a major way which is obviously why it was featured in the latest episode ofIssa Rae‘s HBO show Insecure.
This single will quickly become one of your go-to self-empowerment jam as Simz goes off about investing in herself and not letting any type of distractions—men to be specific—knock her off this self-made journey toward success.
