“The Man Who Sold the World” is a song written and performed by David Bowie. It is the title track of his third album, which was released in the US in November 1970 and in the UK in April 1971. The song has been covered by a number of other artists, notably by Lulu, who had a UK No. 3 hit with her version in 1974, and Nirvana.
In 2014, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, together with Raúl Fernández Miró (Refree), published her album, Granada, composed of 21 songs in which Nirvana songs are covered, such as ‘The man who sold the World.’
