Odd-pop wonders Porij have shared plans for new EP ‘outlines’. The band recently played 6Music Festival in Cardiff, kicking off a summer of live duties. It’s all building towards new material, with the Manchester-formed outfit set to release a new EP in a few weeks.
Out on September 7th, ‘outlines’ is led by bold new single ‘automatic’, a song that displays the band’s pan-genre approach.
PORIJ have shared their first new single of the year in ‘Figure Skating’. The Manchester outfit enjoyed a prolific 2021 with a string of well-received singles. And now they’re elevating their sound once again with the help of some 90s-inspired drum n bass influences and blissful lead vocals. It’s a hypnotic concoction that feels ravey and bittersweet all at once.
Following the release of last year’s ‘Breakfast’ mixtape, Manchester electro-rockers Porij have released their socially conscious and plucky and poignant new alt-pop single ‘Nobody Scared’.
