Hit Of The Week: Royal Blood “Trouble’s Coming”
Royal Blood have shared “Trouble’s Coming”, the rock duo’s first new track since releasing their 2017 album How Did We Get So Dark?.
Serving as a sample of the Brighton band’s forthcoming third LP, “Trouble’s Coming” adds a bit of glitz to their grit. It pulls in influences from Daft Punk and Justice, turning Royal Blood’s usually hammering sound into something much groovier. According to the band, the muscular dance floor style of the song set the groundwork for the rest of their new LP.

Royal Blood, banda formada pels britànics Mike Kerr i Ben Thatcher, que es van convertir en una de les grans sorpreses i revelacions de 2014 al Regne Unit amb el seu debut homònim tornen a Barcelona per presentar el seu segon disc, ‘How did we get so dark?’ (2017), on s’amplifica tot el que la banda apuntava als seus inicis, mantenint un so que beu del hard rock i el garatge partint d’una base totalment minimal de baix i bateria.
