Comença la setmana Sónar  i dedicarem el programa a repassar el millor d’aquesta nova edició. Punxarem alguns dels artistes que hi participaren com De La Soul o River Tiber. Entrevistarem a la gent d’un dels segells musicals més rellevants del país: Luup Records. Divus Julius i el mestre Bergman estrenaran el més nou de Fleet Foxes, The War On Drugs, Benjamin Clementine, Liam Gallagher,  Local Natives o Arcade Fire; a més de descobrir a noves bandes com ara Lo Moon,The Away Days, The Amazons, Bad Sounds o Animal Husbandry. What a party! What a Big Time! Quina festassa la de Ville à Dômat. El mestre Bergman i Divus Julius Bonasera, artífexs de la festa, ho explicaran tot sobre aquesta. Entrevistarem a la gent de la Pastisseria Canal faedors del millor croissant de l’estat. Analitzarem el Primavera Sound Festival que comença aquesta setmana i punxarem alguns dels artistes que hi participaran com Odina, Barbott o !!! També estrenarem el més nou de Phoenix, Mogwai, Oh Wonder, alt-J, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart o Los Coming Soon. A més, informarem de la inauguració del Café del Mar Club Barcelona, del primer flagship store d’ Etnia Barcelona i dels guanyadors del Festival de Cannes.

Aquest dilluns entrevistarem a la banda punk Les Cruet i estrenarem el més nou de Muse, Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, The Japanese House, Royal Blood i Benjamin Biolay. Punxarem l’electro-pop de l’enigmàtic projecte Màquina Total i el nou tema d’una de les bandes més hipnòtiques del moment: Cigarettes After Sex. Per acabar us informarem de l’exposició “David Bowie Is” i de la sobtada mort de Chris Cornell-

Music by Bergman: Pavo Pavo

Pavo Pavo is about to release their debut album on November 11 under Bella Union Records – it will be entitled ‘Young Narrator In The Breakers.’ This is a group of young but extremely competent musicians who worked closely with indie and classical heavyweights such as Here We Go Magic, John Zorn, Dave Longstreth, Porches, Olga Bell, Lucius, Roomful of Teeth, and San Fermin. The record was co-produced by Danny Molad (Lucius) and Sam Cohen (Yellowbirds, Apollo Sunshine), so expectations should be high.

Best Covers: Your Friend “Radio Silence”

Your Friend a.k.a. Taryn Miller has spent 2016 supporting her debut album Gumption. Following its January release, she embarked on an extensive criss-cross of the US with friends and label-mates Porches and Alex G, taking in a 7-show stint at SXSW and wrapping up with two shows in New York – Music Hall of Williamsburg and Bowery Ballroom. Your Friend has also toured with San Fermin this year.

Recently, Your Friend premiered a new cover of James Blake’s “Radio Silence” in anticipation of her August tour, with several dates opening for Kurt Vile. Out Of Town Films has also shared a new session recorded in Philadelphia earlier this year, which includes versions of “Come Back From It,” “Gumption,” and “UN.” The tour includes stops in San Diego, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Denver, and more.
