She & Him (Zooey Deschanel + M. Ward) have shared a cover of The Beach Boys’ 1971 song “Till I Die.” It is the latest release from the duo’s upcoming Brian Wilson tribute album, Melt Away: A Tribute to Brian Wilson, which will be out on July 22 via Fantasy. She & Him feature the somewhat unlikely pairing of country-folk artist M. Ward and actress/singer/songwriter Zooey Deschanel. While starring in the 2007 film The Go-Getter, Deschanel was asked by director Martin Hynes to perform a duet with Ward, who had agreed to helm the movie’s soundtrack.
Set for release on 22nd July on Fantasy Records, She & Him – aka Zooey Deschanel & M. Ward – have announced their seventh studio album, a tribute to Brian Wilson, ‘Melt Away: A Tribute To Brian Wilson’.
