Supergrass, the Britpop four-piece known for their 1995 album I Should Coco and 1999 self-titled record, have announced that they’re getting back together for an official reunion tour and new career-spanning box set.
Supergrass have also released a previously unheard cover of The Police’s ‘Next To You’, which you can listen to here:
Supergrass singer tuned solo songwriter Gaz Coombes has shared new song ‘Walk The Walk’.
The English artist is set to release new album ‘World’s Strongest Man’ on May 4th, the follow up to his Mercury nominated album ‘Matador’. With a flurry of headline shows planned Gaz Coombes is ready to move ahead, sharing new song ‘Walk The Walk’. With a slight twinge of Americana filtered through his deeply British songwriting landscape, it’s a stirring return, a refreshing, creative statement.
A young Birmingham four piece, consisting of singer and guitarist Dom Ganderton, lead guitarist Ryan Malcolm, bassist Emily Baker and drummer Carl Griffin, Superfood are proper Britpop revivalists whose sound is an undeniably resplendent sonic melange of all the best bits of Blur and Supergrass. They released their first album three years ago and now they’ve just released a brand new single “Double Dutch”. The track is the first to be taken from the band’s as-yet-unnanounced follow-up to 2014 debut LP ‘Don’t Say That’, and is an instantly addictive, dreamy cut, with a heavy use of sampling.
