The renowned indie-rock group The Wedding Present is celebrating. It is the 30th anniversary of Bizarro, the second studio album of the band formed in 1985 in Leeds. In commemoration and to celebrate it, they will play tonight in Barcelona. The iconic record includes some of the most important songs of this British group, such as Keneddy and Brassneck, promising a memorable concert.
The Wedding Present tornen a sacsejar Barcelona per presentar el seu desè treball, ‘Going, going’ (2016). En aquest llarg disc, David Gedge i els seus acompanyen les vint cançons, que combinen les guitarres espesses amb el power pop més enèrgic amb una sèrie de peces audiovisuals rodades durant un viatge a través dels EUA fet per Gedge i la fotògrafa Jessica McMillan. Els teloners seran Summer Cannibals, trio d’Oregon liderat per Jessica Boudreaux, que presenten el seu tercer disc, ‘Full of it’ (2016). Aquesta nit a la sala Sidecar.
