Romy Madley Croft of the xx has been building a catalog of sterling dance-pop singles in recent years. “Enjoy Your Life” is new single is once again co-produced by Fred again.., who also worked on “Lifetime” and “Strong” and featured Romy on his own “Lights Out.” Other producers on the track include Stuart Price and Romy’s bandmate Jamie xx.

Hit of The Week: Jamie xx ‘KILL DEM’
Ahead of a handful of US headline shows later this month, Jamie xx has shared a brand new track.
‘KILL DEM’ was premiered as BBC Radio 1’s Clara Amfo’s Hottest Record In The World earlier this evening, and was inspired by Notting Hill Carnival.
The track follows on from his most recent offering ‘Let’s Do It Again’, which was shared back in April, and doubled as his first new material in over two years.

The xx bassist and vocalist Oliver Sim has shared his debut solo single – listen to ‘Romance With A Memory’ below.
Sim is the last of the trio to go solo, with Jamie xx – who produced Sim’s new track – having a long solo career which includes 2015 LP ‘In Colour’, and guitarist/vocalist Romy Madley-Croft going solo last year as Romy with the single ‘Lifetime’.

Forward-thinking alternative pop Emotional Oranges have released their debut single ‘Motion‘.

Hit of the week: Hot Chip “Hungry Child”
Hot Chip have announced a new album, called A Bath Full Of Ecstasy, that will be out in June. It’s their first album since 2015’s Why Make Sense?, and it’s their first album that they recruited outside producers to work with them, namely Philippe Zdar (Cassius, Phoenix) and Rodaidh McDonald (the XX, David Byrne, Sampha).
They’ve dropped a music video for lead single “Hungry Child,” which was directed by Saman Kesh and stars Freaks And Geeks’ Martin Starr and This Is Us’ Milana Vayntrub as a couple having a spat before getting entranced by the new Hot Chip single. It turns out that “Hungry Child” has taken over the whole world, and no one can stop hearing it.
Hit of the week: The xx ‘I Dare You’
UK three-piece indie outfit The xx have shared the music video for their track ‘I Dare You’ which stars a collection of well known models and Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things.
Helmed by Raf Simons, chief creative officer at Calvin Klein, as well as photographer Alasdair McLellan and fashion editor/stylist Ellie Grace Cumming, the music video possesses a unique and trendy retro style.
Adding to the video’s visual aesthetic, Simons helped cast a number of respected models and actors, including the co-star of Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown, Ashton Sanders and Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson.
‘I Dare You’ is found on the third album from The xx titled ‘I See You’, released in January 2017.
