El mestre Bergman i la seva Productora de Pardals han viatjat fins a Alberta, Canadà per presentar-nos a Viet Cong. De la unió de Matt Flegel i Mike Wallace, membres de Women, i Monty Mounro, de Lab Coast, sorgeix ara Viet Cong, projecte que lliga a la perfecció la intensitat abrasiva del post-punk i les catarates de distorsió del noise amb les melodies laberíntiques i mutants de Talking Heads i un acabat lo-fi. El quartet, l’alineació del qual completa Danny Christiansen, es va donar a conèixer el 2013 amb “Casette”, i es va estrenar a Jagjaguwar amb el single “Continental Shell”.
